About
Building a business network
Most network specification comes down to three decisions: managed or unmanaged switching, whether you need Power over Ethernet, and how you handle uplinks. Managed switching earns its cost as soon as you segment traffic, run voice, or need visibility into what's saturating a link. PoE is worth specifying before you need it — it removes a mains socket per access point, camera and desk phone.
For uplinks, SFP and SFP+ cages give you fibre or copper flexibility without replacing the switch later. We stock compatible transceivers for most vendors, so an existing core doesn't constrain what you buy next.
Apaxon supplies networking from Cisco, HPE Aruba, Netgear, TP-Link, Ubiquiti and Zyxel, alongside the patch cabling, panels and cabinets to install it. For new sites we can spec the active kit and the structured cabling together.
