Overview

The 2m Blue CAT8 Ethernet Cable from StarTech.com is designed to deliver performance for high-bandwidth applications, supporting speeds of up to 40 Gbps. With its robust aluminum mylar foil shielding, this cable mitigates EMI, promoting a stable connection essential for data transmission. The pure bare copper conductors ensure optimal signal quality while the flame-retardant and low smoke zero halogen materials enhance safety, making this cable suitable for various environments. Additionally, the strain relief design extends the lifespan of the connectors, allowing for up to 750 mating cycles, ensuring durability throughout extensive use. This patch cable complies with IEEE standards, including IEEE 802.3bt and IEEE 802.3ba, ensuring compatibility with a range of devices. The RJ-45 male connectors on both ends support 100W PoE++ for powering devices over the network.
